A note from Zach: “Mountain View was truly a special book to narrate. Colin is the kind of character that anyone who’s ever been in that weird liminal, in-between place where you’re not sure what you’re supposed to be doing in life can relate to. The story feels timeless — I was born in the 2000’s, so it felt like I was jumping into a time capsule and entering the world of a college kid back in the 80’s, going back home for the summer, but home didn’t feel like home anymore, and I really felt for him. It showcases the mundanity of a time you can never get back to in a beautiful way, and I really loved it.”
Zach Holzberg (he/him) is a Liverpool-based multi-hyphenate artist originally from the Philadelphia area, and a recent graduate of the M.A. Acting program at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. You can probably find him narrating books, writing plays, or playing board games.
